A PE is an engineering professional who has earned a license to practice engineering. To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and receive a license from their state’s licensure board. Then, to retain their licenses, PEs must continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers.

Qualified credentialed Professional

Recognized by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) as the only individual who can prepare, update, or modify a Construction Best Management Practices Plan (CBMPP). A QCP makes sound professional
judgments regarding Alabama NPDES rules, BMP’s, and stormwater quality remediation for construction sites.

Certified Groundwater Professional

The Certified Ground Water Professional (CGWP) certification is a prestigious credential for individuals in the groundwater industry. It is designed to represent top professionals who strive to uphold the dignity of their profession. The certification requires a B.S. in a groundwater or related science and 5 years of professional work experience in hydrogeology or geosciences discipline. The Certification was administered by the National Groundwater Association, NGWA.
